Pokemon Sword & Shield trainers can participate in a special Cramorant Max Raid event from Wednesday, February 4 through Monday, February 8. This limited-time event coincides with the western release of the Secrets of the Jungle movie.
Participation is simple: Just connect to the internet during the event window and look for special Cramorant raids in the Wild Area. The level 100 Water/Flying-type will appear in 5-star raids.
While Cramorant isn’t typically considered a rare Pokemon, this event version features enhanced stats and serves as a community challenge similar to previous Mewtwo and Zeraora raids.
Cramorant Max Raid Rewards Breakdown
The event features tiered rewards based on global participation:
- 500,000 Cramorant defeats: All participants receive Flame Orb, Toxic Orb, and Light Ball – essential items for competitive battling
- 1,000,000 defeats: Additional rewards including Gold Bottle Cap, three regular Bottle Caps, and Pearl Strings
Pro Tip: The Gold Bottle Cap is especially valuable as it maximizes all IVs of a level 100 Pokemon through Hyper Training at Wyndon’s Battle Tower. This is crucial for competitive players and shiny hunters looking to perfect their Pokemon’s stats.
While some may have hoped for Zarude as a reward, the practical value of these items makes them excellent additions to any trainer’s inventory.
