Ten exceptional League of Legends competitors will be chosen for the inaugural LCS virtual training camp targeting women, scheduled from September 27 to October 8. This intensive two-week program delivers guidance from LCS coaching staff and includes structured scrimmages, personalized mentorship sessions, and comprehensive skill development.

“Throughout the program, participants will form competitive teams, systematically learning professional fundamentals, honing their technical abilities, engaging in scrimmages against varied opponents, and collaborating with coaches and analysts to identify improvement opportunities,” Riot detailed in their announcement.
LCS Game Changers organizes attendees into two five-player squads. They’ll immerse themselves in the professional League experience through VOD review sessions, role-specific coaching, daily practice matches, and culminating best-of-five series to conclude the program.
The curriculum also incorporates wellness components like ‘Life as a Pro’ seminars and ‘Mental Resilience’ discussions featuring guest speakers, preparing competitors for the psychological demands of esports careers.
Riot anticipates the program will “function as both training foundation and talent identification platform, creating additional entry points for women into competitive esports.”
