The update’s official title “Zephyr of the Violet Garden” reflects the harmonious blend of Inazuman cultural events and Liyue’s geological wonders, creating a diverse gameplay experience.

Character Banners and Reruns
Kamisato Ayato, head of the prestigious Kamisato Clan, finally becomes playable in Version 2.6. This five-star Hydro sword user brings unique mechanics that complement existing roster compositions.
Early gameplay demonstrations highlighted Ayato’s exceptional synergy with his sister Ayaka in Freeze compositions, plus compatibility with various Cryo main damage dealers for consistent elemental reactions.

Ayato’s signature weapon, Haran Tsukishiro Futsu, features CRIT Rate as its secondary stat alongside a powerful Normal Attack damage enhancement ability. This makes it exceptionally valuable for main damage dealer builds.
Banner specifics including four-star rate-up characters will be confirmed closer to launch. Monitor official channels for the latest character lineup announcements.
Version 2.6 continues the trend of valuable character reruns with two premium five-stars returning: Venti and Ayaka. This provides excellent opportunities for players missing these meta-relevant characters.
The Anemo Archon Venti will appear alongside Ayato during the first banner phase, while Ayaka’s banner runs independently in the second half. Four-star companions for these banners remain undisclosed initially.

The Chasm Exploration Guide
The Version 2.6 livestream extensively covered The Chasm, Liyue’s newest explorable region featuring multi-level underground caverns and unique environmental mechanics.
While currently inaccessible before the update, preliminary details reveal The Chasm formed from celestial impact, with extensive mining operations established around the crater. Previous livestreams indicated this area’s historical significance.

This distinctive location contains unusual mineral formations and mysterious ores, with uniquely colored soil and vegetation patterns. The subterranean mines present the greatest challenges, housing aggressive enemies in darkened passages.
Navigation through the lightless depths requires the Lumenstone Adjuvant gadget for illumination. Similar to Dragonspine’s Frostbearing Tree, maximizing this device’s capabilities eases exploration while providing valuable rewards.
Effective Chasm exploration requires strategic party composition including characters with mining capabilities (claymore users) and elemental diversity for puzzle solving. Prioritize upgrading your Lumenstone Adjuvant early to access hidden areas.
Common exploration mistakes include neglecting the Lumenstone upgrade materials and underestimating the verticality of the area. Bring characters with exploration talents like reduced climbing stamina consumption.
Irodori Festival Events
The Irodori Festival serves as Version 2.6’s flagship event, featuring extensive cross-region character interactions between Inazuma, Mondstadt, and Liyue personalities.
This cultural celebration includes four distinct minigames: thematic photography assignments for a Mondstadt bard, enhanced Theater Mechanicus challenges, sword combat duels, and traditional flower arrangement practices.
Completing all Irodori Festival objectives unlocks the four-star Hydro character Xingqiu permanently. Additional rewards include substantial Primogems, enhancement materials, and exclusive festival items.
Event strategy should prioritize daily participation to maximize reward acquisition. The Theater Mechanicus and combat challenges offer the most efficient Primogem farming opportunities for time investment.
Advanced players can optimize event completion by pre-building specialized teams for each minigame type, particularly focusing on elemental coverage for Theater Mechanicus and single-target damage for duel challenges.
Story Content and Quests
Dainsleif makes his anticipated return in Version 2.6’s narrative content. The Archon Quest “Requiem of the Echoing Depths” features the Traveler accompanying Dainsleif into The Chasm’s deepest regions.
Dainsleif previously appeared during Chapter I’s storyline and the “Bough Keeper: Dainsleif” world quest. His reappearance signals significant Khaenri’ah lore development.

Dainsleif’s specific role in the 2.6 narrative remains mysterious, though players anticipate substantial backstory revelations regarding the fallen nation of Khaenri’ah and the Abyss Order.
Quest preparation should include ensuring your Adventure Rank meets the 30+ requirement and completing prerequisite Archon Quests to access the new story content immediately upon release.
The narrative progression in Version 2.6 provides crucial setup for future regions and story arcs, making completion essential for understanding the game’s overarching plot developments.
