Warzone March 25 patch notes: Ice Drake Blueprint fix, Shadowhunter crossbow

Warzone hotfix resolves Shadowhunter crossbow and Ice Drake Blueprint issues with practical loadout tips

Patch Highlights

Raven Software’s latest Warzone update delivers crucial fixes for two persistent weapon issues affecting gameplay since Season 2 launch. The March 15 hotfocus primarily targets the R1 Shadowhunter crossbow functionality and visual elements of the premium Ice Drake Blueprint.

This server-side update requires no client download, applying automatically when players next access Warzone. The changes address critical equipment functionality that has impacted loadout effectiveness since early March.

Weapon-Specific Solutions

Shadowhunter Crossbow

The tactical crossbow now properly appears in Warzone’s armory when unlocked through either Black Ops Cold War progression or store purchase. Previously, players reported the weapon remaining inaccessible despite meeting unlock requirements – particularly frustrating for those who purchased the specialized bundle.

Ice Drake Blueprint

Visual elements on the Krig 6’s premium blueprint have been temporarily restored while Raven develops a permanent solution. The distinctive dragon head ornament now correctly displays on all barrel attachments, though developers note this is an interim measure.

  • Ice Drake Blueprint fixed – the 16.5″ Ultralight and 19.7″ Takedown barrels will temporarily adorn a dragon head
  • R1 Shadowhunter crossbow should now be available in the Weapons menu after it has been unlocked in BOCW or via the Store bundle
  • Player Optimization

    Loadout Strategies

With the Shadowhunter now functional, consider pairing it with a fast-handling SMG for optimal close-to-mid range combat. The crossbow excels for stealth eliminations when equipped with explosive bolts.

    Bug Prevention

To avoid blueprint display issues, refrain from rapidly switching attachments in the gunsmith menu. Some visual bugs may still occur during preview before final loadout selection.

As with all other hotfixes, you don’t have to download any patches to get any of this content. Instead, players are prompted to install a small in-game update the next time they log-in, which should update the game settings.
