“My game development journey began during junior high school in 2010, but transitioning into professional studio work altered my creative process. The autonomous creative control I experienced as an independent developer became significantly constrained within corporate structures.

“January 2024 marked a pivotal moment of realization. I initiated development on a new personal endeavor, Acts of Blood. This initial learning project has since evolved into the complete gaming experience currently in production.

“This creative undertaking originated from my desire to rekindle the original passion I possessed when creating projects independently.”

“Video games rarely feature authentic representations of our urban environments, cultural elements, or daily experiences, prompting my decision to address this representation gap, even through modest means.

“While not creating an exact geographical replica of Bandung, I strive to authentically capture the city’s distinctive atmosphere, street-level ambiance, architectural character, and subtle details recognizable to local residents. This project serves as my homage to my hometown while providing international players exposure to Indonesian cities beyond the commonly featured capital of Jakarta.

“Beyond global representation of my hometown, Bandung’s characteristics align perfectly with the game’s narrative themes, visual aesthetics, and overall mood. The city experiences comparatively cooler temperatures due to regular rainfall patterns distinct from other Indonesian urban centers. I intentionally designed the game’s visual scheme around blue-dominated tones accentuated with red highlights, creating ideal atmospheric cohesion.”

“Bandung’s environmental diversity provides additional advantages. The city integrates vibrant urban landscapes with surrounding mountainous terrain. From game design perspective, this geographical variety facilitates creation of distinct level environments preventing player fatigue from repetitive urban settings.”

“We implement weapon usage with intentional restraint. Firearms appear exclusively within designated combat zones requiring ballistic engagement. “Given this represents my inaugural major development project, I maintain manageable project scope. The narrative presents a concise, high-intensity revenge story spanning several hours.
