“I established TOVG in 2011,” explained Jirard, widely recognized online as The Completionist. “The original vision involved creating a centralized production hub for all my creative endeavors, but it rapidly evolved into The Completionist channel. Everything developed organically from that foundation.”

Twelve years later, TOVG maintains consistent video production for both The Completionist and Super Beard Bros channels, while simultaneously operating as a comprehensive content management organization.
“We frequently collaborate with international content creators, particularly those based in Europe, who seek opportunities in the United States but require assistance navigating visa requirements,” Jirard clarified.
TOVG additionally operates merchandise manufacturing services as a “white label production house,” frequently supporting affiliated content creators with product development.
Meet the TOVG Powerhouse Team
Operating as a compact team requires TOVG members to frequently “wear multiple professional hats,” though each individual maintains distinct primary responsibilities.
As company CEO, Jirard oversees all financial decisions and most creative direction. His brother Jacque Khalil serves as CFO, described by Jirard as “the financial strategist.” General Manager Frazier Perez-Yadon guarantees seamless business operations and fulfillment coordination.
The creative leadership comprises Michael Barryte and Alex Faciane as creative directors for The Completionist and Super Beard Bros respectively. Brett Bayonne provides additional support for Super Beard Bros content, frequently appearing in episodes.
TOVG’s editorial and community management division includes Megan Baldado handling social media for both The Completionist and Beard Bros channels. Ted Coonradt manages editing duties and Patreon fulfillment, while Patrick Stenglein serves as primary editor for The Completionist content.
Cameron Daxon leads the writing department for The Completionist, supported by freelance writers Jeremy Hanna and Iszac Gaton.
The visual and technical team includes Shawn (JetPackBraggin) creating thumbnails and merchandise artwork. Carlos Padilla designs rating graphics and end cards for The Completionist videos. Jirard participated in Scare to Care and even hosted the event at TOVG offices to provide logistical support.
When Michael joined Jirard’s team, he discovered the 501(c)(3) nonprofit established in memory of Jirard’s mother. This foundation became a crucial inspiration catalyst for developing IndieLand.
“That discovery essentially prompted us to consider producing a charity event supporting this important cause. The concept addressed dual objectives and simultaneously solved two challenges,” Michael elaborated.
“Jirard had expressed strong interest in expanding his charitable involvement. While he’d participated in various charity initiatives, he lacked a signature philanthropic project he could call his own.
“Additionally, the YouTube algorithm presents challenges for indie game content performance regarding video SEO, despite Jirard’s genuine passion for independent game development.”
They collectively developed what they described as a “strategic intersection” that highlighted indie games while generating funds for dementia research.
This vision materialized in 2018 when Frazier, Alex, and Michael collaborated to launch the event with Jirard’s enthusiastic endorsement.

“We conceptualized specific game categories, such as ‘Hardcore Harbor’ for extremely challenging titles. We implemented location-based theming to create engaging narrative context for each segment.”
Within two years, the micro-land concept was phased out as coordinating international developers across compatible time zones proved nearly impossible. However, the IndieLand branding endured.
For the 2018 debut, Jirard successfully recruited both Yacht Club Games and Way Forward to participate. Following the event’s conclusion, the team unanimously agreed on its continued potential.
“After completing that initial marathon stream, we collectively decided, ‘this should become an annual tradition.’ The execution exceeded expectations. Each subsequent year, we’ve intentionally expanded and enhanced our game presentation methods, featured developers, and participating talent.”
