The Nakatomi Plaza vault contains massive financial rewards, but requires completing three challenging side missions to access. Here’s your complete tactical guide to conquering these objectives.
The 80s Action Heroes update brings themed content including Rambo POW camps and Die Hard’s Nakatomi Plaza. Players can unlock special operator skins through the action movie bundle while exploring these new locations.
Unfinished Business: Vault Keycard 1
The first mission requires locating and opening three special crates scattered throughout Nakatomi Plaza. While seemingly simple, this becomes challenging due to heavy player competition.
Successfully opening all three crates rewards Vault Keycard 1. For squad play, coordinate crate collection – only one player needs to interact with each crate for team credit.
Hostile Fire: Vault Keycard 2
This explosive mission pays homage to Die Hard’s climax, requiring players to disarm four C4 devices on Nakatomi’s rooftop while defending against enemy operators and AI helicopters.
Each C4 requires 3 seconds to disarm. The devices glow red and emit beeping sounds – prioritize those nearing explosion. Completing all disarms rewards Vault Keycard 2.
Deal Gone Wrong: Vault Keycard 3
The final mission unfolds in Nakatomi’s underground parking area. Activating equipment on a white truck triggers two AI enemy waves, culminating in a Juggernaut confrontation.
Defeating the Juggernaut grants Vault Keycard 3. For solo players, stock up on armor plates and consider running the Stims field upgrade for survival.
Opening the Nakatomi Vault
With all three keycards secured, head to the 31st floor to access the vault. Look for the distinctive black security console with four monitors near the vault entrance.
After looting, immediately move to a Buy Station. The vault location becomes a high-traffic area – don’t linger to count your cash in the open.
