Hydaelyn opens the fight with a suite of signature abilities. Healers should be prepared for frequent raid-wide damage.

Heroes’ Radiance: A raid-wide Area of Effect (AoE). Use standard mitigation (Reprisal, Feint, Addle) and group healing to recover.

Dawn Mantle: This is the core mechanic of Phase 1. Hydaelyn changes her weapon, indicated by a colored icon above her head, dictating the following AoE pattern:

Dancer Chakrams (Red icon): A large donut AoE centered on Hydaelyn. The safe zone is directly underneath her hitbox. Move in quickly.

Crystallize: Hydaelyn casts this early, but its effect (either player-targeted AoE circles or a stack marker) is delayed, often appearing during a Dawn Mantle cast. React accordingly: spread for circles, stack for the marker.

Parhelion & Subparhelion: A deadly sequence. First, three sets of line AoEs radiate from Hydaelyn, exploding sequentially. Dodge into the safe zone of the first exploded set. Heroes’ Sundering: A conical Tankbuster targeting the main tank. This must be taken solo; any other player caught in the cone will likely die. The tank should face the boss away from the party.

Radiant Halo: Yet another potent raid-wide AoE requiring mitigation and healing.

Lightwave: Four waves of light pulse from the edges, moving inward. They move in desynchronized pairs. Observe the pattern and navigate through the gaps. This is a pure movement test.
