Trusted Fortnite insider HYPEX has shared intriguing details about a potential Sonic skin. Their June 28 tweet revealed an unreleased contrail (movement effect) codenamed “Sonic” that uses visual elements similar to the Raz skin from Season 6.
HYPEX clarified: “There’s an unreleased contrail for a skin codenamed ‘Sonic’ using Raz’s ribbons with pink coloring.” This suggests either a Sonic-inspired variant of Raz or a completely new character model.
While the evidence is compelling, veteran players know to approach leaks cautiously. The Raz connection could indicate this is simply a cosmetic variant rather than a full character skin. However, the Sonic codename and timing with the anniversary make this particularly noteworthy.
