Players have uncovered hidden secrets, including Bunker Jonesy confined within a POI prison cell, plus vaults holding gold and mythic weaponry from earlier seasons. These three locations supersede previous areas like Lonely Labs, The Citadel and Watery Watch landmark.

Strategic Tip: Approach these POIs with caution—land at nearby locations first to gather equipment before attempting heists. The guard patrol patterns follow predictable routes, allowing observant players to identify security gaps.

Common Mistake: Many players rush the vaults without clearing surrounding guards first, leading to being overwhelmed. Always eliminate perimeter threats before attempting to breach secured areas.

Battle Pass & Skins

Epic Games and Disney maintain their productive partnership regarding collaborations that introduce Star Wars characters into the gameplay experience.

Similarly, confirmed information indicates Chapter 4 Season 4 Battle Pass owners will obtain the Ahsoka Tano skin as bonus content unlocked through specific quest completion. This arrives shortly after the Disney+ series premiere featuring the character that shows Ahsoka’s survival during the post-Empire period.

As expected, Chapter 4 Season 4 presents a fresh Battle Pass featuring a new faction, antagonist, and an inaugural Icon series skin inclusion.

The Chapter 4 Season 4 Battle Pass incorporates the Khaby Lame Icon series outfit, Kado Thorne, Nolan Chance, Piper Pace, Fish Thicc, Mae, and Antonia skins. Gamers can acquire the Battle Pass for 950 V-Bucks or receive it as supplementary content with their active Fortnite Crew membership.

Pro Tip: Complete Ahsoka Tano quests early in the season—they often involve straightforward objectives that provide significant Battle Pass experience alongside the skin unlock.

Value Analysis: The Fortnite Crew subscription provides the best value if you play regularly, offering the Battle Pass plus monthly V-Bucks and additional cosmetics.

Weapons & Equipment

Each new Fortnite season introduces fresh weaponry for combatting opponents across the island, and Chapter 4 Season 4 delivers premium loot extremely beneficial during heist operations.

The new arsenal includes Rocket Ram, Infiltrator Pump Shotgun, Scoped Burst SMG, Twin Mag Assault Rifle, and Business Turret. Additionally, a new Heist Bag item joined the update with potential contents including Crash Pad Jr. (new item), Remote Explosive (unvaulted), Rocket Ram, ammunition, healing items, and more.

Furthermore, multiple Mythic weapons from earlier seasons will return during the current season as components of Kado Thorne’s treasure collection.

ALL ADDED MYTHICS:

– MIDAS’ DRUM GUN
– TNTINA’S KA-BOOM BOW
– OCEAN’S BOTTOMLESS CHUG JUG
– KIT’S CHARGE SHOTGUN
– KIT’S SHOCKWAVE LAUNCHER
– ZYG AND CHOPPY’S RAY GUN
– THE FOUNDATION’S MK-SEVEN ASSAULT RIFLE
– GUNNAR’S STINGER SMG pic.twitter.com/9YSBrNoFIg

Kit’s Charge Shotgun and Shockwave Launcher, Midas’ Drum Gun, Ocean’s Bottomless Chug Jug, TNTina’s Ka-Boom Bow, The Foundation’s MK-Seven AR, Gunnar’s Stinger SMG, Zyg and Choppy’s Ray Gun, count among these returning weapons.

Moreover, several retired weapons have been reintroduced including Remote Explosive, Suppressed Sniper Rifle and Suppressed Pistol. Additionally, multiple weapons spotted in trailers such as the Scoped Burst SMG, EMP Shield Grenade and Sticky Grenade Launcher will arrive later via future updates.

Tactical Advice: The Rocket Ram excels for quick entries and exits during heists—use it to breach walls unexpectedly or create escape routes when overwhelmed.

Weapon Synergy: Pair the Scoped Burst SMG with the Twin Mag AR for optimal close-to-mid range combat effectiveness during POI assaults.

Movement & Vehicles

Every Fortnite season introduces innovative transportation methods for navigating the island, and Last Resort continues this tradition.

If you make it out of a Thorne building uneliminated, don’t look back — hop in the nearest car for a vehicular escape. The more cinematic the escape the better, so look for a Nitro Fang by Victory Motors.

A new vehicle called Nitro Fang has appeared on the island and can be readily located near heist locations throughout the map. While standard models resemble ordinary cars, some feature pizza delivery disguises and exceptional speed for escaping Thorne structures.

This vehicle also incorporates a handbrake function similar to Nitro Drifter that enables players to execute sharp turns effortlessly while maintaining velocity.

Escape Strategy: Always identify your escape vehicle before initiating a heist—the pizza delivery variants provide both camouflage and superior speed for getaways.

Advanced Technique: Master the handbrake turns to quickly change directions when pursued, using the environment for cover while maintaining momentum.

Reality Augments & Systems

The current Fortnite season introduces six fresh Reality Augments that will prove extremely valuable during island heist operations.

The six reality Augments and their gameplay advantages appear below:

  • SNIPER STRIKER – Snipers give Siphon upon damaging enemies.
  • PISTOL SALVO – Your Pistols will have a reduced fire rate but increased damage.
  • FAST FISHER – Swim faster and instantly loot fishing spots when you swim through them.
  • AMMO DROP – Not only grants ammo, but also makes it so that enemies drop more ammo than usual.
  • FIRST SHOTGUN – Your Shotguns will deal increased damage on the first shot.
  • ON THE GO BAG – ANY container you open will have an item that would be in a Heist Bag.
  • Alongside the new Augments, several from the previous Fortnite seasons have also returned. Check out our full list of Reality Augments in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4 for more info.

Last Resort revives the medal system from Chapter 2 Season 1 where players earned XP as continuous progression during matches by accomplishing minor milestones. However, they return with a renewed approach called Survivor Medals.

Survivor Medals necessitate players completing Survivor Quests during Battle Royale and Zero Build matches. To advance to subsequent medals, players must finish these quests that test their ability to outlast specific opponent numbers while achieving elimination counts.

Seven medal rarities exist, with ten medal upgrades per rarity available gameplay. Higher medal rarities correspond to more difficult Quests. Furthermore, the most skilled survivors will obtain the Mythic 1 medal.

There are seven medal rarities, with ten medal upgrades per rarity. These rarities are:

    Common
    Uncommon
    Rare
    Epic
    Legendary
    Exotic
    Mythic

Once players achieve the Common 1 medal, they immediately unlock the Prized Llama Back Bling without cost. As they progress through each rarity’s pinnacle, they will unlock varying back bling styles.

Augment Strategy: ‘On The Go Bag’ dramatically increases heist efficiency—prioritize this augment when available for consistent loot advantage.

Medal Progression Tip: Focus on survival first, eliminations second—the outlast requirements typically prove more challenging than the elimination counts.

    NPCs & Boss Fights

Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4 introduces guards and bosses to the recently added heist locations. These NPCs display hostility and will engage immediately upon detecting players.

    New Map NPCs:

    – Rhomb Camo
    – Rhomb Guard
    – Rhomb Guard Red
    – Rhomb Patrol
    – Rhomb Patrol Red#Fortnite #FortniteLastResort pic.twitter.com/yG6bM1mThP

Additionally, the Kado Thorne boss spawns randomly within any of the three Thorne buildings and presents significant combat difficulty. The newest game addition includes Forecast Towers distributed across the island.

Players can approach any Forecast Tower, eliminate guards and acquire keycards from them to disclose storm circle information. After scanning the tower using the keycard, your squad gains visibility of future storm circles during the match.

Boss Strategy: Kado Thorne’s attacks follow predictable patterns—observe his movements before engaging and use environmental cover to avoid his mythic weapon attacks.

Forecast Tower Priority: Securing storm intelligence early provides massive late-game advantage—prioritize these towers during mid-game phases.

    Competitive & Ranked Play

Last Resort also initiates a fresh Ranked season for competitive participants. This update begins Season 1 Ranked, following the earlier announcement accompanying Season Zero launch.

Similar to Season Zero, players must complete at least one Ranked match in Chapter 4 Season 4 to activate their ranks (separately for Zero Build and Battle Royale). However, overall performance in the initial match doesn’t dictate their starting rank placement.

Instead, it reveals their rank and subsequently updates the rank progress bar according to player performance in individual matches. The new Ranked season also introduces eight fresh rewards that players can obtain freely by finishing Urgent Quests.

Alongside general content updates, multiple bug fixes and adjustments were implemented across competitive, Creative and Save the World (STW) game modes. The modifications include:

  • Added six new tournaments for Season 4.
  • Kit’s Shockwave Launcher, Shockwave Grenades, Nitro Fang and On The Go Bag Reality Augment not included in competitive tournaments.
  • That’s everything you need to know about Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4 update! Make sure you check out our Fortnite page for the latest news and guides.

Ranked Advice: Don’t stress about your initial placement match—the system focuses on consistent performance over time rather than single-game results.

Tournament Preparation: Practice without the restricted items to ensure you’re comfortable with the competitive meta and available equipment.
