Fortnite 34.10 update brings Getaway LTM, Outlaw Keycards, new weapons and Invincible crossover content
Server Status and Downtime Schedule
Fortnite servers are currently operational following the scheduled maintenance period. Epic Games completed the necessary server updates for the March 11 patch during Chapter 6 Season 2 without significant issues.
The v34.10 update maintenance window commenced at 1 AM Pacific Time / 4 AM Eastern Time / 8 AM GMT. Development teams projected the downtime would span approximately 90 minutes, with full server restoration achieved by 2:30 AM PT / 5:30 AM ET / 9:30 AM GMT. Players should ensure their game clients are updated to access the new content.
Pro Tip: Always check the Fortnite Status Twitter account before major updates for real-time maintenance extensions. Server queues can be lengthy immediately after maintenance, so consider logging in 15-20 minutes after the scheduled end time to avoid congestion.
Getaway Limited Time Mode Returns
The beloved Getaway limited-time mode makes its triumphant return from Chapter 1! Available until April 1 Eastern Time, squads must locate one of four Crystal Llamas (designated as Jewels) scattered across the map and successfully transport them to extraction vehicles.
Teams can achieve victory through two primary methods: being among the first three squads to secure a Jewel in one of the Island’s three Getaway Vans, or employing traditional Battle Royale tactics by eliminating all competing teams. The mode supports both Duos and 4-player squad configurations.
Carrying a Jewel introduces strategic trade-offs: movement speed decreases significantly and your position becomes visible to all players on the map. However, Jewel bearers receive continuous Health and Shield regeneration, creating compelling risk-reward dynamics. Getaway LTM is accessible in both Build and Zero Build variants, available in unranked and Ranked playlists.
Advanced Strategy: Designate one team member as dedicated Jewel carrier with maximum mobility items while others provide cover fire. The health regeneration makes surviving encounters easier, but the map visibility requires constant positional awareness and rotation planning.
This marks Fortnite’s inaugural Ranked LTM experience, featuring distinct progression mechanics. Each squad member receives substantial rank bonuses for successful Jewel extraction, with overall match progression rates increased. Note that Ranked Getaway achievements won’t unlock additional Styles for existing Ranked rewards.
Outlaw Faction Quest System
Baron Fletcher Kane has imposed substantial taxes on vending machines and premium porta-potties across the Island. Version 34.10 introduces a community-driven Quest challenging players to collectively deplete Fletcher Kane’s resources by pilfering Bars from his financial institutions and hidden stashes.
Upon community completion of this objective, all participants receive basic membership in the Outlaw faction, accompanied by an upgradable Outlaw Keycard. This access card unlocks the backroom areas of Black Markets scattered throughout the Island.
Progress through Outlaw Keycard Quests to enhance your card’s capabilities, granting access to expanded services and exclusive Exotic weaponry. The tiered upgrade system provides:
- Uncommon Outlaw Keycard: Unlocks Black Market backrooms for Exotic item purchases. Some locations include hireable security personnel.
- Rare Outlaw Keycard: Provides complimentary access to Outlaw Chests within backroom areas using Bars currency.
- Epic Outlaw Keycard: Enables premium loadout acquisitions from Black Market vendors for substantial Bars investment.
- Skillet’s Loadout – Sticky Grenade Launcher, Mammoth Pistol, Kneecapper, Chug Jug, Gold Ammo Boon, and Greed Boon.
- Keisha’s Loadout – Falcon Eye Sniper, Outlaw Shotgun, Gold Splashes, Chug Jug, Gold Ammo Boon, and Greed Boon.
- Joss’ Loadout – Holo Twister AR, Pump & Dump, Rocket Drill, Chug Jug, Gold Ammo Boon, and Greed Boon.
- Legendary Outlaw Keycard: Outlaw Chests in backroom areas additionally yield Legendary items and Dill Bits currency.
Common Mistake to Avoid: Don’t waste Bars on lower-tier Keycard upgrades if you’re close to reaching the next tier. Save your currency for meaningful purchases that provide combat advantages rather than incremental improvements.
New Weapons and Loadout Systems
With Black Market backroom access secured, players discover fresh Exotic Items available through Dill Bits currency transactions. Six distinctive Lawless Mythic weapons join the arsenal:
- Lawless Slap Cannon: Projects healing Slap energy toward allies to replenish Health and Shield meters.
- Lawless Blink Pump & Dump: Activates Zero Point Dash capability for several seconds following reload completion.
- Lawless Stink Rifle: Deploys offensive stink clouds upon projectile impact with surfaces.
- Lawless Shockwave Rocket Launcher: Fires impulse-generating projectiles that create area denial explosions.
- Lawless Trinity Assault Rifle: Discharges four-round triangular patterns with reduced firing rate trade-off.
- Lawless Heavy Impact Tracking Rifle: Temporarily highlights player positions and Chest locations near shot impact zones.
Additional weapon discoveries include the Outlaw Shotgun and Rocket Drill, obtainable from standard Island Chests outside Black Markets. Big Dill’s preferred armament – the standard Pump & Dump – now occupies single weapon slots, enabling simultaneous Shotgun and SMG wielding configurations.
Weapon Synergy Tip: The Lawless Slap Cannon pairs exceptionally well with aggressive playstyles. Use it to sustain teammates during pushes while the Lawless Trinity AR provides covering fire with its unique spread pattern that’s ideal for suppressing enemies behind cover.
Battle Pass and Cosmetic Updates
The dazzling, shadow-infused gunslinger aesthetic arrives! LAWLESS Battle Pass owners can immediately unlock the Outlaw Midas Outfit by achieving 10 Account Levels. This progression objective can be accomplished through XP accumulation across all game experiences.
Additional Account Level milestones unlock complementary accessories including the Outlaw’s Knife Rack Back Bling, Outlaw’s Whipknives Pickaxe, Bullet Rider Glider, Trouble’s Comin’ Emote, and various other cosmetic enhancements. Continued progression reveals Outlaw Midas’ Gunslinger, SHADOW, and GHOST Style variants.
These achievement windows remain available until Fortnite Battle Royale Chapter 6 Season 2: LAWLESS concludes on May 2, 2025 Eastern Time.
XP Optimization: Focus on completing daily and weekly challenges first, then play Creative maps with high XP yields. The Outlaw Quest line also provides substantial experience points while progressing your Keycard simultaneously.
Gameplay Mechanics Updates
The Siphon mechanic makes its return to Ranked Battle Royale and Zero Build modes for the LAWLESS season duration. Mirroring competitive tournament rules, eliminating opponents in Ranked matches now grants 75 Health distributed over five seconds. This regeneration system remains inactive in Ranked OG, Reload, and Getaway playlists.
This adjustment significantly impacts ranked gameplay strategy, rewarding aggressive playstyles and multi-kill engagements. The health return enables continued combat engagement without mandatory healing interruptions, potentially accelerating match pacing.
Ranked Play Advice: With Siphon active, consider playing more aggressively in early and mid-game scenarios. The health return can sustain you through multiple engagements, but remember that third-party teams will be attracted to fight sounds, so always have an escape route planned.
Invincible Crossover Expansion
Industry reports indicate another Invincible collaboration arriving alongside the 34.10 update, celebrating the animated series’ third season currently streaming on Amazon Prime. Specific skin details remain unconfirmed, though numerous character possibilities exist from the expanding roster.
Season 3 introduces several new characters including Powerplex and Conquest, making them potential candidates for Fortnite inclusion. Alternatively, developers might introduce variant appearances for existing skins, such as Invincible’s blue costume design.
Fortnite’s official X account previously teased this possibility when responding to community requests for the blue suit variant, generating substantial speculation about upcoming cosmetic releases.

Collection Strategy: If you’re completing the Invincible set, monitor the Item Shop daily following the update. Crossovers often feature multiple skins released over several days, and completing sets during initial release typically costs less than waiting for individual item returns.
