Warzone Season 3 wishlist: Pro streamer CouRage’s essential game improvements
The Call for Change
As Warzone prepares for its Season 3 update, prominent content creator Jack ‘CouRage’ Dunlop has compiled an extensive list of requested improvements. The former Call of Duty esports commentator turned streaming star has outlined 18 specific changes he believes would significantly enhance the battle royale experience.
Dunlop publicly reached out to Raven Software developers, offering his expertise and gameplay footage to help implement these crucial updates before the new season launches.
CouRage’s Warzone Journey
Once a staple of Call of Duty’s competitive scene, CouRage has transitioned into one of gaming’s most influential content creators. While he stepped back from professional commentary, his passion for the franchise remains evident through his daily Warzone streams.
His relationship with Warzone has been complex, cycling through periods of intense play and temporary breaks due to frustration with certain game elements. This back-and-forth experience gives him unique insight into both casual and competitive perspectives.
On April 15, Dunlop took to social media to share his comprehensive list of suggested improvements, targeting issues that have plagued the game for multiple seasons.
The Complete Improvement List
CouRage’s suggestions address three key areas of Warzone gameplay:
Gameplay Mechanics
- Reduce frequency of Dead Silence and Stopping Power field upgrades
- Adjust FFAR assault rifle to balance close-range combat
- Implement consistent sniper glint visibility
Quality of Life Changes
- Remove or refund the problematic Roze skin (notorious for visibility issues)
- Improve loot pickup mechanics, especially for Armor Satchels
- Add console Field of View slider (currently PC-exclusive feature)
Technical Fixes
- Fix persistent audio issues with footstep positioning
- Resolve inventory bugs preventing cash/plate drops
- Correct spawn height glitch in Plunder mode
Dunlop emphasized his willingness to collaborate directly with developers, stating: “More than happy to hop on a call with developers and provide clips to help improve the game!”
Community Impact and Likelihood
Many of CouRage’s suggestions echo long-standing community complaints, particularly regarding audio issues and the Roze skin. These changes would significantly impact competitive play, where audio cues and visual clarity are crucial.
The FFAR balancing and Gulag requests reflect current meta concerns, while quality-of-life improvements like the console FOV slider would benefit the entire player base.
Given CouRage’s industry connections and the specificity of his suggestions, there’s reasonable hope that some may appear in Season 3 updates. However, players should temper expectations until official patch notes confirm any changes.
