CDL & USAA partner up for Military Appreciation Week ahead of Stage 3 Major

Call of Duty League and USAA launch military appreciation initiatives with exclusive rewards

Military Appreciation Week Overview

The Call of Duty League and USAA are strengthening their collaboration through special events honoring military service members. This year’s Military Appreciation Week, running from May 10-16, features the $500,000 CDL Stage 3 Major as its centerpiece event.

USAA steps into the spotlight as presenting partner for the Stage 3 Major tournament, marking a significant expansion of their gaming partnerships.

Building on their existing work with the Call of Duty Endowment (C.O.D.E), Activision introduces the Call of Duty League Gives Back program. This initiative creates unique gaming experiences for military personnel, including special training sessions with professional teams like the Minnesota ROKKR.

Exclusive Military Benefits

From May 3-31, current and former U.S. military members can claim the exclusive C.O.D.E Battle Doc Pack. Designed by Army Veteran Combat Medic Timothy Hobbs Jr., this $9.99 value bundle includes:

  • Special Weapon Blueprint
  • Exclusive Calling Card
  • Two unique Weapon Charms

The United States Space Forces’ competitive CoD team will receive professional coaching to defend their 2021 C.O.D.E Bowl title, demonstrating the program’s commitment to military gaming communities.

How Non-Military Players Can Participate

Civilian players aren’t left out – complete five revives in Warzone between April 30-May 9 to earn a free CoD Endowment Calling Card. This challenge serves a dual purpose:

  1. Honors military medics through gameplay mechanics
  2. Contributes to a community-wide goal

If one million players complete the challenge, Activision will activate Double XP in both Black Ops Cold War and Warzone, benefiting the entire player base.

“These initiatives allow us to connect with military members through shared gaming experiences,” explained Eric Engquist, USAA VP and Army veteran.
